According to a recent article in Fortune magazine there are at least different people every day parading through CNBC telling you which stocks to buy. Another part of the good is the advanced ability to quantify strategies. When I was teaching myself how to trade, I quantified by hand. I still have notebooks of tests that I did by hand, writing down the entry and the exit. What used to take days to test, today takes minutes.
