No amount of "shaders" or "texture packs" can save how MC looks. At it's core, it is a world made up of blocks after all, so it will always be "ugly" compared to some other MC-like games. However, there's already a couple of texture packs available, and I'm positive they'll be more coming after it comes out of beta they're a little busy with "other" things right now. I'm using the VanillaBDCraft x textures with it if you want to know. Life is great when viewed from some angles. They have no reason to, but they do it anyway. And in doing so, they become one of the sucky angles that life can be viewed from. If enough people ignore it, it will go away, fade, and all will be good again.
